Date Sun 19 Jun 2011
Time 10:00 AM
Venue Jolly's Lookout (Mt Nebo Road)

Along the Thylogale Walking Track

Join Brisbane Rainforest Action and Information Network for a botanical walk
along the Thylogale Walking Track in the D'Aguilar National Park (previously known as
Brisbane Forest Park).

The walk will be led by Bill McDonald, Principal Botanist, Queensland Herbarium.

Meet at the car park of Jolly's Lookout on the Mount Nebo Road.

The walk starts at 10am and takes about 3 hours, although it can be hard to tell with a BRAIN walk. Sometimes they are very slow!

The walk from Jolly's to Boombana is four kilometres long, over easy terrain.

BYO lunch to have at Boombana if you wish.

You can walk back along the road, about 1.5 kilometres or back along the track or leave a car at Boombana before the start.

Wear walking shoes, hats, sunscreen, etc. Bring water. Optional extras - snacks, binoculars, cameras. No need to book.
