SOWN has volunteer bushcare groups working on creek bank restoration throughout the Enoggera catchment including Enoggera Creek, Fish Creek and Ithaca Creek. It is good creek restoration practice to start at the headwaters - so let's go there now …
- Enoggera Creek - Enoggera Creek region starts at the Enoggera Reservoir and ends in Bancroft Park in Kelvin Grove where the weir separates the salt from the fresh.
- St John's Wood and Ashgrove West - This region is the central part of Enoggera Creek, around the Enoggera Reserve, Royal Parade, the Ashrove Sports Grounds and Acacia Drive down to Dorrington.
- Ithaca Creek - Ithaca Creek Region includes groups from the headwaters down to the junction with Enoggera Creek.
- Fish Creek - Fish Creek has groups along Wittonga Park, Michaela Crescent Park, Chaprowe Road and down to the junction with Enoggera Creek.
